The SlowTeching Principle

I'm a learning designer and writer interested in a fairly big question: how do we help people learn and live well in a world increasingly shaped by technology?

I explore this through writing, learning design and emerging scholarship around AI, agency and human flourishing. My current project, SlowTeching, is one attempt to turn those ideas into practice.

SlowTeching is an emerging framework for restoring human agency in a world where technology and automation are increasingly shaping how we learn and work.

It's a reflective practice that can be used by practitioners and students regardless of platform, institution or future technology changes. Drawing on VanderWeele's (2017) model of human flourishing, SlowTeching asks where technology is enhancing, hindering, or reshaping different aspects of flourishing.
